Maria Zervudachi (Mia) creates hand built, unique, ceramic sculptures. Her work is mainly semi abstract, inspired by the human figure and themes of connection and spiritual evolution. This links in with her practice and teaching of yoga and meditation. She works with white clay and oxides and slow fires the pieces to enhance their durability. Her studio is in an Old Mill Bakery in East Sussex.
Mia has exhibited widely in local galleries and has been previously selected to show work with The Royal Society of British Artists in London and at “Sculpt” Gallery in Essex. She also currently sells at The Silver Sheep, a small artisan shop in Tunbridge Wells.
